I don't see any obvious photoshop work here. The lighting's weird but I guess that's how it would be in a hangar that big. The design of the legs push me to agree with Usui that it is a Japanese Gundam. Maybe they're building a real one! LOL

Wow this Usui guy knows his nuts! I wasn't saying that this particular robot in the picture is Optimus Prime though Usui, merely that the Transformer in discussion is called OPTIMUS Prime and not OCTOMUS Prime. And I think Lee was just making that story up in search of a cheap laugh. That's the kinda guy he is ;0) You however really do seem to know what you are talking about. So if you can let us know any more about this robot is we'd be really greatful. Even better still, do you know anything about this photo and it's authenticity? Or is it just a photoshop wind up? Get in touch!

Those of us who are familiar with Transformers, obviously more familiar than McLee, will know it's OPTIMUS Prime. Which is a damn shame, because up to that point I was well convinced by that polar ice cap melting story. I thought YEAH! This guy obviously knows his robot biscuits.

The search for the truth continues :0\

I actually do have inside knowledge to the origin of this photo, the rogue that took the photo was found and terminated although he had digitally transferred the photo before he was obtained.

This is actually a photo from area 51, where a real life transformer was discovered in the melting polar ice caps from the south, for those of you familiar with transformers this was octomus prime.

This is actually what was thought to have wiped out the jurrasic era of life on earth.
