Tonight the South Parade lads played the Winter Gardens in Cleethorpes, supporting their mate Tom ‘previously of the Inspiral Carpets’ Hingley, and his new band The Lovers.

I only caught the last half of South Parade’s set but what I heard I thought was pretty damn good. To be totally honest, I’d rather have listened to another hour of them than another hour of Tom. Don’t get me wrong, Tom was great, but I’d heard enough shouty bollocks tonight at work without paying to listen to more. Check out more of the story with James’s review over at spmusic.
