The recent musical theme continues here at the newts.net with this FANTASTIC music quiz.

What Song music quiz... KERRRWALITY :0)

It starts off with some random, usually obscure artist, but just type your own choice of band name in and run the quiz. The database must be HUGE, I haven’t found a band yet that’s not on it.

It plays you a 20-30 second snip of a song by that band and gives you 4 options to choose from. There’s 10 rounds per band, and if you replay the game it’s a whole new set of questions on the same band. Love it, it’s ace.

It’s like the online version of Olympics on the PS2 but with an Ancient Greek theme. Haven’t quite managed the gold yet, with 7980 I was just 20 points short! The crafty questions inbetween rounds are pretty tough too.

And all using just the B – N – SPACE BAR buttons. Quality entertainment.

Not Penguins playing baseball…

I think the trick is to hit the penguin fairly low so he skims across the snow. If his beak sticks in the snow and he doesn’t bounce, you need to hit him a little flatter in trajectory.
